Differance between Momentum and Impulse

Momentum:

Moving object possesses a quality virtue of which it experts a force on anything that tries to stop it.The faster the object is traveling, the harder to stop it.If two object moves with same velocity, then it is difficult to stop the massive of the two.
By Newton, this quality of moving body was called the quantity of motion of the body. this is now called linear momentum of body.

Definition of momentum:

the product of mass and velocity of body is called linear momentum.

Mathematical form:

                                               Linear momentum = momentum formula

unit:

IS unit of momentum is kilogram meter per second. it is also expressed in Newton second.

Impulse:

When the force acts on body for a very shart time then the product of force and time for which the force acts is called impulse.

Impulse
